SmartDeblur

Restore or repair defocused or blurred pictures"
A review by Andrew

When you have a blured photo, there is a chance to repair it. There are some tools that could work. Now it depends how the blur has been made and the grade of blur. But you can try with different tools to see if they will make the photo clear.

This application can be used to analyze and restore blurred images, whether it’s about complex or simple patterns like motion, gaussian or out of focus blur. For performance reasons, SmartDeblur will automatically resize your picture to fit the limit size of 1000 pixels.

To restore defocused or motion/gaussian blurred pictures you only have to select the blur type and optionally adjust its specific parameters. It can also perform a blind deblurring, adjust the smoothing intensity and the kernel size and also specify the blur estimation area. The result can be saved to JPG or PNG format.

It is part from photo editing category and is licensed as shareware for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platform and can be used as a free trial until the trial period will end. The SmartDeblur demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions compared with the full version.
